Goal

The goal in my design studio is to create a space where ideas flow freely, inspiration is abundant wherever you look, and anything you think of can be made into a physical object all while introducing minimal friction to the design process.

The goal in my design studio is to create a space where ideas flow freely, inspiration is abundant wherever you look, and anything you think of can be made into a physical object all while introducing minimal friction to the design process.

Background

I graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Material Science and Engineering. While completing my studies, I was fascinated by the way certain materials can be the only logical choice for a given application.

This fascination was only amplified as I dove deeper into the materials and processes involved in the medical field, learning more about new manufacturing techniques and special material formulations that enable bio-compatible implants and implantable devices.

As I did more research into manufacturing technologies that make cutting edge medical devices possible, I fell in love with additive manufacturing ands started learning as much as I could about 3D printing and the possibilities it could unlock for new designs as well as new designers.
