Blume – Sculptural Lamp by vjrkrn

This sculptural lamp is a study in controlled contrast—where soft organic inspiration meets precise geometry. Designed by vjrkrn, the piece embodies our core values: refined usability, visual harmony, and forms drawn from nature, distilled into their essential expressions.

At first glance, the lamp resembles a blooming flower, but beneath its soft glow lies a tension between freedom and containment. Seven curved “petals” form the lamp’s shade, encased within a rigid framework of seven vertical dowels. This deliberate symmetry creates a quiet visual rhythm, while the tension between the shade and its containment adds a sense of movement—as if the lamp is gently expanding outward from within. The result is a piece that feels alive yet composed.

The textured base draws from familiar architectural cues, echoing the horizontal layering of siding on a home. This tactile grounding element contrasts the smooth verticality above, anchoring the form in a way that feels both comforting and solid.
